How to complete a PM assigned to a user in ActivateOS on the mobile app
First, open your mobile app to complete a Preventive Maintenance (PM) that has been assigned to you.
You'll find the maintenance card in the actions section of your app. Begin by clicking
download to get the form onto your mobile device.
There are two main parts to the preventive maintenance. We'll start by focusing on the left side, labeled "general." Here, tap
"general." This is where you should capture any general notes about the equipment, confirm the serial number, and enter the engine hours. If the number needs updating, do so here. Additionally, if there's a secondary meter or odometer reading, please enter that as well. You can also take photos of the unit within this section, specifically in the "machine media" area at the bottom.
The bulk of the PM work is carried out in the checklist section of the app. This is where you complete the checklist items similarly to how you would during an inspection.
To indicate that an item passes or has been completed, swipe from the left of the screen to the right. If an item cannot be completed, swipe in the opposite direction to mark it as incomplete or failed.
Then, provide a brief note explaining why. Any failed or unpassed items during your PM will become issues that can be addressed and assigned at a later time to ensure their completion.
Continue working through all items on the PM form. Once everything is done, press the blue icon in the bottom right corner and select
"complete" to finalize the Preventive Maintenance process.
